punkins for my punkin (and a few other minor details).

i have updated over at spontaneous blah a few times since our adventures in maui, but realized today that i had not updated here.  while most of you who read this also read that, here's a brief recap on life inside our home over the course of the last 20-ish weeks...

we lost our sweet sammy girl in early september.  

she is greatly missed.

...and into fall...

 

and there was one other development...

we came back from maui to a positive pregnancy test!

our latest addition will be joining us sometime in early march.  i am right at 20 weeks now and, while feeling large, i am also feeling good.  we will find out a week from today whether our little bean will sport blue or pink (or in our case, probably green or purple!) 

i am definitely missing my energy these days which would account for why my blogs have not been updated as frequently (or my laundry folded as often, or the dishwasher emptied on a regular basis, or the piles of crochet projects piling up)...

but we are entering prime picture season and i hope to do a better job in the coming months!
