she wore the dress her great-grandma gaffey wore almost 90 years ago.
she wore the ring her nanny gave her around her wrist.
she looked at the stained-glass windows.
she sang hymns with mommy.
she talked to daddy during the sermon.
she was surrounded by all the people that love her.
and bill and i were reminded once again just how much of a miracle she is.
and how lucky we are to have been chosen to be her mommy and daddy.
